Job summary

Space Systems Command at Kirtland AFB, NM seeks a Delta ISSD to plan, implement, and report on information assurance and cybersecurity for space ground and launch systems. The role requires SME-level security policy expertise across R&D and operational assets, with responsibilities spanning RMF processes and security control implementation.

Ideal candidates will hold relevant certifications or a CS/IT degree and possess DoD cybersecurity knowledge, including STIG/SRG guidelines and cross-agency

Qualifications

• Experience implementing RMF/DIACAP-like processes and security controls.
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-37/800-53/800-171 and FedRAMP.
• Understanding of space ground and launch system cybersecurity needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and report IA and cybersecurity for space ground/launch systems.
• Serve as SME for security policies and ensure compliance across programs.
