Job summary

Vast is seeking a Post Processing Technician in Long Beach, CA, to support the development of space station hardware. You will perform chemical processing tasks, maintain traceability, and work in cleanroom environments as part of a compact, multi-disciplinary team.

The role requires hands-on experience in precision cleaning, chemical handling, and documentation, with opportunities to contribute to critical mission milestones in a heavy-lacustration environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Precision Clean Line.
• 2+ years of experience performing Cleanness Verification.
• 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting design drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample collection and handling of solvents and other chemicals.
• Maintain lot number traceability and serialization of parts.
• Maintain inventory of lab consumables and ensure cleanliness of the lab.
• Support precision cleaning Class 1–5 in Vast programs and work in pre-clean and cleanroom environments.
• Ensure processes and documentation are current, coordinate with EH&S and monitor equipment condition.
