Job summary

Space Systems Integration (SSI) in Colorado Springs, CO, seeks a Multi-Domain Sensing Engineer/Model Simulation Analyst to support MWTD and MDSP programs. The role requires deep MW/MT knowledge, extensive M&S experience, and the ability to deliver simulation-ready scenarios for senior leaders.

You will develop missile warning models, write analysis scripts in Python/MATLAB, and coordinate cross-agency modeling efforts. A TS clearance and DoD experience are required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience developing complex space system models and simulations in AFSIM.
• Experience with STK and/or SOAP highly desired.
• Experience developing simulation scripts and interface code using Python and/or MATLAB.
• 5+ years of space system modeling and simulation experience.
• In-depth understanding of MW/MT systems and operations.
• Active TS clearance with in-scope T5/SSBI, SCI eligibility, and polygraph readiness.

Responsibilities

• Develop target (missile) and effector simulations using AFSIM.
• Develop modeling/analysis scripts with Python and/or MATLAB.
• Build space-based missile warning models using STK or SOAP and integrate with force designs.
• Assist with planning, execution coordination, and results evaluation of analyses.
• Document force design dependencies and opportunities across agencies and partners.
• Collaborate across systems engineering and integration activities for force design.
• Coordinate internal and external modeling efforts with multiple agencies.
