The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Security Specialist IV to support Department of Defense and IC security functions, focusing on personnel and physical security. The role liaises with government agencies to meet program security requirements and maintain accreditations.

Ideal candidates will have TS/SCI eligibility, FSO background, and experience with security databases (DISS, Scattered Castles, TALON, JADE, CPCI) and ICD-705 knowledge. Telework options may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience.
• Current TS/SCI eligibility and U.S. citizenship.
• FSO Certification.
• Experience processing collateral clearances and SCI/SAP nominations.
• Knowledge of ICD-705 and government security databases.

Responsabilités

• Administers, executes, and ensures adherence to regulations on protection of government programs.
• Implements security programs for protecting classified and unclassified information.
• Processing security clearances and access.
• Processing visit requests via IC community and DISS.
• Conduct self-inspections/audits to comply with regulations.
• Update fixed facility and compartmented area checklists to maintain accreditations.
• Review and assist in the development of security policies and procedures.
