Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Security Specialist IV to support personnel and physical security, ensuring compliance with Department of Defense and Intelligence Community directives. You will liaise with program management and government agencies to meet security requirements.

Responsibilities include processing clearances, visit requests, and security audits, as well as developing and updating security policies to safeguard sensitive information across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of security experience.
• Current TS/SCI eligibility and U.S. citizenship required for clearance.
• FSO certification
• Experience with collateral clearances and SCI/SAP nominations
• Knowledge of ICD-705 and government security databases (DISS, TALON, JADE)

Responsibilities

• Administers and ensures adherence to government regulations regarding protection of government programs.
• Implements security programs for protecting classified and unclassified information.
• Processes security clearances and access.
• Processes visit requests via IC community and DISS.
• Conducts self-inspections/audits to ensure compliance.
• Updates fixed facility checklists and area checklists to maintain accreditations.
• Assists in developing security policies and procedures.
