Job summary

Logos Space is seeking an experienced Security Assurance Lead to build and lead the elite security testing and assurance organization for space and ground systems. You will define governance across firmware, hardware, cloud CI/CD, and orbital systems, leading a multidisciplinary team of red teamers and researchers to ensure readiness before launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master’s/PhD preferred.
• 10–12+ years in security engineering; 5+ years in senior leadership leading offensive security or assurance teams.
• Experience leading security assurance programs for complex, safety-critical systems (aerospace, defense, critical infrastructure).
• Strong knowledge of industry standards (NIST SP 800-series, FIPS, SLSA) and zero-trust architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define the security testing strategy, KPIs, and risk management frameworks.
• Build and mentor a world-class security assurance team (red teamers, firmware fuzzing, pentesters, researchers).
• Oversee end-to-end security validation across Embedded, Spacecraft, Supply Chain, Launch, Cloud, and Ground Infrastructure.
• Own the Security Sign-off for mission-critical software/hardware releases and set remediation thresholds.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Security, Platform Trust, and Terminal Security to drive architectural improvements.
• Lead adversarial modeling and red team exercises to improve proactive resilience.
