Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin's Center for Space Research invites applications for Research Engineering/Scientist Associate III, IV, or V at the Pickle Research Campus in Austin, TX. The role advances geodetic research and PNT applications across disciplines.

You will build data analytics infrastructure, participate in geodetic infrastructure tasks, and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong programming and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

  • MS with years of experience in aerospace geodesy or related field.
  • Recent state-of-the-art work in satellite geodesy or geometric geodesy.
  • Experience with scientific programming and data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and operate data analytic infrastructure and software.
  • Contribute to architecture of geodetic infrastructure and fieldwork.
  • Prepare reports and communicate results to stakeholders.
  • Support grant proposals and journal publications.
  • Perform other related functions as assigned.
