Astranis Space Technologies Corp. is seeking a Radiation Effects Associate Engineer (Winter 2027) to support modeling, analysis, and electrical testing of spacecraft hardware in a space radiation environment.

You will influence test plans and hardware characterization across U.S. laboratories, contributing to our mission of reliable, secure satellite systems for government and commercial customers.

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on hardware development with testing and troubleshooting.
• Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies).
• Familiarity with PCB design tools, especially Altium Designer.
• Citizenship status required for U.S. government projects.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and electrically test fault-tolerant systems in radiation environments.
• Create test plans, fixtures, and document test results for review.
• Support radiation testing campaigns to screen components for TID and SEE.
• Collaborate across teams to inform radiation considerations.
• Assist test development, breadboarding, and cable-harness fabrication.
