Job summary

Rocket Lab in Albuquerque, NM seeks an R&D Engineering Intern to support developing a process that can deposit a phase-change material to favorably change the temperature of a solar array. You’ll collaborate with mentors and a small, high-performing team to apply engineering concepts to real challenges.

Qualifications

Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate degree program in an engineering, physics or math discipline and have at least one semester of school remaining post internship
GPA of 3.0 or above
3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, and personal/team project experience is applicable)

Responsibilities

Apply your knowledge to grow technically and professionally while supporting the team
Work with a fast-paced group of professionals to apply engineering concepts to real challenges
Attend frequent 1:1 mentoring sessions to facilitate success and progress updates
