Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 2 years of professional experience, or related Masters with no experience required.
• Ability to comprehend detailed work instructions and interpret drawings, schematics and standards.
• Must be a US Citizen due to program requirements.
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays based on production needs.
• Knowledge of Space vehicles and architecture is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Applies quality principles across design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability and related areas.
• Performs technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures.
• Collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality issues to ensure standards are met.
• Engages in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive actions.
• Develops strategies to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity.
