Job summary
Lockheed Martin Space seeks a quality-focused professional to apply data analysis and quality principles across make and/or buy products, from design through production control and R&D, driving improvements.
You will collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to ensure quality standards, lead investigations, and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering) or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing/quality processes and documentation
- Ability to comprehend and interpret drawings, work instructions, schematics, and specifications
- US citizen to meet program requirements
Responsibilities
- Utilizes data analysis to drive closure of key tasks and improvements.
- Applies quality principles in design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, inventory control, and/or R&D for make/buy products.
- Collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality issues to ensure standards are in place.
- Engages in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action.
