Job summary

Gramian Consultancy is seeking a Space Quality Assurance Engineer to support ECSS‑Q-based QA activities on satellite projects. This role requires hands-on experience in space project QA, technical documentation, process compliance, supplier follow‑up, reviews, audits, and non‑conformance management.

The ideal candidate has worked in the space or aerospace industry and understands how ECSS‑based quality requirements apply across engineering, manufacturing, testing, and delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality engineering.
• Experience in the space/aerospace industry.
• Practical knowledge of ECSS‑Q standards.
• Experience with non-conformance management and corrective actions.
• Experience reviewing technical documentation and quality records.
• Experience supporting project reviews, audits, and acceptance processes.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support QA and product assurance activities for satellite projects.
• Ensure processes and deliverables comply with ECSS‑Q requirements.
• Review technical documentation, quality records, and test documents.
• Support design, manufacturing, test readiness, and acceptance reviews.
• Monitor non‑conformances, corrective actions, deviations, waivers, and risks.
• Participate in internal or supplier audits and track actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and project teams.
• Maintain traceability of quality requirements and evidence.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and reporting.
