Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM, is seeking a Science/Engineering Program Manager to lead the Joint Space Protection Program. The role can be filled at PM 4 or 5 level depending on experience, with exceptional candidates considered for higher level.

You will coordinate space projects, advise investment boards, and interface with IC/DOW customers. Qualified candidates have space systems experience, strong project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in space system design, production, or operations with familiarity to NASA/DOW TRL assessment.
• Ability to convert concepts into executable, measurable projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead JSP space activities and interface with IC and DOW stakeholders.
• Advise investment boards on needs and opportunities in space programs.
• Coordinate with LANL offices to align investments across the space enterprise.
• Manage multiple projects with priorities, schedules, and resources.
