Rocket Lab in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Propulsion Assembly Technician III for the B shift to build sub-assemblies for the Rutherford rocket engine and support the Propulsion Production team. You will assemble turbo pumps, perform pressure testing, and contribute to space missions.

The role requires 5+ years in mechanical assembly in aerospace, experience with mechanical and electrical tools, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical assembly experience in aviation, aerospace, or similar industry.
• Experience with mechanical assembly tools (pressure testing equipment and welding preparation).
• Experience with electrical assembly tools (bench testing and measuring instruments).
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Build turbo pumps and rocket engines.
• Watch the hardware you build make fire and go to space.
• Support the Propulsion Production Manager and production organization.
