Job summary

Blue Origin in Merritt Island, FL, is seeking a warehouse receiving specialist to verify inbound shipments, perform part-number checks, and ensure accurate ERP/WMS processing. You will maintain receiving documentation and support MRB for nonconformances in a highly regulated aerospace environment.

The role requires 2+ years in a manufacturing/defense setting, proficiency with ERP/WMS, RF scanning, ESD/FOD controls, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in receiving/warehouse or material handling in manufacturing or aerospace/defense.
• Proficient with ERP/WMS transactions, lot/serial capture, put-away, and location control.
• Ability to read POs, packing lists, BOLs, and supplier certifications.
• Familiar with part numbers, revisions, and basic drawings/specs.
• Experience with ESD and FOD controls; hazmat handling knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and verify inbound shipments against POs and packing lists.
• Perform quantity, part number, and revision checks; document damage and shortages.
• Execute ERP/WMS transactions; capture lot/serial numbers and storage locations.
• Print/apply barcodes; ensure traceability of all materials.
• Route hardware to IQC per inspection plans; stage or quarantine as needed.
• Maintain receiving documentation (C of C, MTRs, calibration certs) for traceability.
• Manage nonconformances: initiate NCRs; segregate material; support MRB actions.
• Ensure compliance with ITAR/EAR, hazmat, ESD, and safety procedures.
• Perform put-away, transfers, and line-side deliveries to support production.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes; follow safety standards.
• Collaborate with Buyers, Supplier Quality, Logistics, Planning, Production.
• Support cycle counts and dock-to-stock accuracy improvements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by updating work instructions.
• Maintain clean 5S and inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Assist in training and cross-functional teamwork.
