Job summary

CACI International in the United States is seeking an Associate Project Manager for our Space Line of Business, supporting the Photonics team. You will oversee IMS, cost, and risk management to keep programs on schedule and budget.

The role requires 3+ years in project planning/management, strong communication, and the ability to obtain a government security clearance. Travel up to 10% across the Continental US is expected. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required with 3+ years of project planning/management experience.
  • Experience in planning and executing to a program schedule and budget.
  • Experience with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) scheduling using MS Project or equivalent.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and initiative.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate in a team.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using MS Project.
  • Maximize program performance through schedule, cost, and risk management.
  • Define baseline scope with team members and manage changes.
  • Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for assigned projects.
  • Provide baseline budget and schedule estimates for projects.
  • Lead resource planning with people managers and perform project staffing.
  • Develop IMS tracking, SRA, and Earned Value Management (EVM) activities.
  • Perform critical path analysis and contingency planning.
  • Record and track Earned Value metrics and ETCs with CAMs and Program Leads.
  • Attend project team meetings and RMB meetings to track risks and actions.
  • Collect and analyze key program performance data and prepare progress reports.
