Job summary

Axiom Space in Houston is seeking a Software Program Performance Engineer IV to own the metrics backbone of our software programs across multiple projects. You will ensure traceability from model through verification and manage the Software Integrated Master Schedule, coordinating with teams and leadership.

You will drive data discipline, report progress and risks, and support Model-Based Systems Engineering with bidirectional traceability while coordinating releases and formal qualification

Qualifications

• Experience managing an Integrated Master Schedule in large programs.
• Familiar with CMMI process metrics and software process assurance.
• Experience with requirements management and MBSE traceability.
• Experience coordinating formal tests, releases, or configuration events.
• Strong data discipline and ability to turn program data into decisions.

Responsibilities

• Administer CMMI process metrics and report to leadership on a regular cadence.
• Maintain metric definitions and ensure deterministic, auditable results.
• Manage the Software Integrated Master Schedule across major programs.
• Coordinate software releases, Test and Project Support activities, and Run-For-Record events.
• Support Model Based Systems Engineering with bidirectional traceability.
• Communicate progress, risks, and status to stakeholders and leadership.
