Job summary

Hydrosat is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to oversee the development and delivery of space-based remote-sensing systems. You will coordinate engineering, operations, supply chain, and leadership to align scope, schedule, budget, staffing, procurement, and commitments.

The role requires strong program management skills, experience with complex hardware programs, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams while delivering results in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in program management or related field.
• Experience managing schedules, budgets, resources, procurements, risks, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to organize and execute technically complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication for status updates to leadership.
• Experience developing program plans, schedules, budgets, and executive briefings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability amidst evolving priorities.
• Ability to work with engineers and technical specialists while maintaining cost and schedule discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned programs from planning through development, integration, test, delivery, and transition.
• Develop and communicate integrated program schedules with milestones and dependencies.
• Establish budgets, forecasts, and cost reporting.
• Coordinate staffing with engineering leadership and functional managers.
• Plan procurements, track long-lead items, and resolve supplier issues.
• Lead program meetings and provide concise status to leadership and stakeholders.
• Support major program reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, Delivery Reviews).
• Support customer communications, deliverables, and contract execution.
• Contribute to proposals with technical/management volumes and staffing plans.
• Develop new business by translating customer needs into executable plans.
• Foster relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Improve Hydrosat’s program management processes and tools.
