Job summary

Karman Space & Defense is seeking a Program Manager to lead aerospace and defense programs from planning through contract completion. You will coordinate across engineering, operations, quality, and contracts to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to cost targets.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in aerospace/defense program management; DoD experience and PMP or equivalent training are preferred. U.S. citizenship and secrecy clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with related experience in aerospace/defense programs.
• Minimum of 5 years supporting or managing aerospace/defense or complex technical programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead programs through planning, development, qualification, production, delivery, and contract completion.
• Own cost, schedule, technical, quality, contractual, and customer objectives.
• Develop integrated program plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution across engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, contracts, finance and test.
• Serve as primary interface for customers, prime contractors, government stakeholders, suppliers, and leadership.
• Identify risks and drive mitigation and recovery plans.
• Lead program reviews and communicate financial performance and corrective actions.
