BB&E is seeking a Contracts Administrator to support the Spaceport of the Future program onsite at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS) at Kennedy Space Center, and Patrick SFB, with potential work at annex locations in Florida. The role requires DoD/government contracting experience, strong communication, and the ability to pass a federal background check.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a NACI/CAC.
• Must pass a federal background check.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Self-motivated and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning to meet contracting objectives for diverse requirements.
• Analyze contracting issues and recommend actions for performance and timelines.
• Support development of performance work statements and data requirements.
• Assist during acquisition planning with market research and strategy.
• Aid procurement of complex services, commodities, or construction.
• Review proposals and advise on acceptability based on cost and technical data.
• Assist post-award contract management actions.
• Analyze unusual contracting problems and suggest alternatives.
• Prepare contract modifications in response to changes in requirements.
