Job summary

BB&E is seeking a Contracts Administrator to support the Spaceport of the Future program onsite at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS) at Kennedy Space Center, and Patrick SFB, with potential travel to nearby Florida locations.

You will contribute to pre-award and post-award actions, analyze contracting issues, assist with performance work statements, market research, and procurement of services, while ensuring compliance and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a NACI/CAC is required.
• Pass a federal agency background check.
• Experience with pre-award and post-award contracting for complex programs.
• Knowledge of contracting laws, policies, and cost analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan contracting program objectives for complex requirements.
• Analyze contracting issues and recommend long-term actions.
• Assist with performance work statements and data requirements.
• Support market research, strategy, milestones, and source selection criteria.
• Assist procurements of diverse services and/or construction.
• Review proposals and assess offers based on financial/technical data.
• Support post-award contract management actions.
• Advise on unusual contract issues and alternatives.
