Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking an Federal Government Operations Intern for its Washington, D.C. site. You will learn about internal priorities and how the Government Operations team implements strategy with state and local governments.

You will work closely with mentors, apply engineering concepts to real challenges, and participate in frequent 1:1s to support growth and track progress. This internship emphasizes learning, collaboration, and hands-on impact.

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master's or doctorate program in Business Administration, Public Policy, PoliticalScience or related field and have at least one semester of school remaining post internship.
  • GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • 3+ months of corporate function experience within federal government, elections, policy or corporate Government Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge and grow skills both technically and professionally with mentorship.
  • Work with a fast-paced group to apply engineering and industry concepts to real challenges.
  • Attend regular 1:1s with mentors and supervisors to facilitate success and learning while providing progress updates.
