Job summary

Rocket Lab, an end-to-end space company, offers a Federal Government Operations Intern position at its Washington, DC site. You will learn internal priorities and how the Government Operations team implements strategy with state and local governments, guided by a mentor and a diverse team of professionals.

You’ll work on real challenges, applying engineering and industry concepts while growing technically and professionally.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master's or doctorate program in Business Administration, Public Policy, PoliticalScience or related field and have at least one semester of school remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of corporate function experience within the areas of federal government, elections, policy or corporate Government Operations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with mentors and other employees to apply knowledge and grow skills technically and professionally.
• Work with a fast-paced group to apply engineering and industry concepts to real challenges.
• Attend frequent 1:1s with mentors and supervisors to facilitate success and learning while providing progress updates.
• Network with interns and employees through social and professional events.

Bachelor/Master/PhD in Business Administration or Public Policy or Political Science
