Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Space Planning Co-op to design and optimize store layouts across its brands. You will support data-driven decisions by building space analytics and productivity reports using Power BI, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role blends business analytics with retail strategy, offering exposure to data mapping, AI tools, and leadership mentorship in a fast-paced environment. This is a 6‑month paid co-op with a hybrid office requirement.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, MIS or related fields.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience with Power BI for performance reporting and data visualization; dashboard development is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI tools and platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or other generative AI solutions.
• Retail experience is a plus; grocery retail experience is a bonus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize store layouts and planograms to maximize space efficiency and sales performance.
• Create and validate space analytics and productivity reports, primarily using Power BI.
• Collaborate with Space Planning and Commercial Solutions teams to map data structures and reporting best practices.
