The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a part-time, on-site business development leader in El Segundo to bridge commercial industry with government customers, accelerating the use of commercial technology in national security and civil space programs, and shaping external messaging.

The selected candidate will build strategic relationships with key stakeholders, leveraging a deep network in space and government, and contribute to events and communications while supporting multi-disciplined

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business administration or related field.
• 10+ years in business development, partnerships, ecosystem building, or venture/startup engagement.
• A working network in the space, venture, or government community.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain the same idea to a founder, an investor, and a program officer.
• Comfort with ambiguity and defining requirements.
• Available to travel domestically as necessary.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require employer sponsorship for a work visa now or in the future.
