Job summary

KBR is seeking a Training Lead for the Space Operations Center to develop, manage, and execute training for mission-ready operators. You will ensure staff proficiency with flight safety tools and oversee training programs across locations to guarantee operator readiness before system delivery.

Required qualifications include high-level security clearance (TS/SCI with Poly) and extensive space-operations training leadership experience, with a compensation range cited for the Virginia area.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 11+ years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s with 12+ years, or no degree with 14+ years of relevant experience.
• 3 years’ experience relevant to customer on-orbit systems and/or space operations programs.
• 3 years’ experience as a training manager and/or instructor for space related tools and/or systems.
• Perform contract tasks independently and lead teams.
• Active TS/SCI with Poly required to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Ensures operations staff are proficient with existing and nascent tools with a primary focus on flight safety tools.
• Responsible for developing and managing training regime at the various operating locations to ensure operator readiness (including threats and responses) prior to any system delivery.
