Job summary

Intuitive Machines is seeking an Applications Engineer for the Space Networking Group in Houston, TX. You will contribute to designing, implementing, and deploying the Space Network architecture and services, collaborating with mission planners and engineers to support missions from planning through post-analysis.

Responsibilities include providing technical support during missions, preparing technical documentation, and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Network Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of software development experience in C, C++, Rust, and Python.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP and internetworking protocols.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps practices and software quality/testing.
• Experience with Gitlab, Docker, Confluence, Jira, SQL databases; good communication.
• Ability to work under compressed schedules in cross-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development and deployment of Space Network architecture and services.
• Provide technical support during mission planning, execution, and post mission analysis.
• Prepare documentation and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
