The Aerospace Corporation is offering a Graduate Intern role in the Navigation and Positioning Architectures Section (NPAS) within SNAPD, with on-site work at Chantilly, VA or El Segundo, CA. The position emphasizes geolocation, GNSS analysis, and architecture evaluation for national security and civil space programs.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree and are pursuing a Master’s or Ph.D. in aerospace or STEM, with GPA 3.0 or higher, and are able to obtain a US security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree completed and enrolled full-time in a graduate program (Master's or Ph.D.) or senior class starting internship.
• GPA minimum 3.0.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain US security clearance (US citizenship required).
• Familiarity with Python, C++, or MATLAB in coursework or projects.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience in geolocation, PNT architecture analysis, GNSS, and jamming/spoofing.
• Support research, development, and acquisition decision analyses.
• Run architecture evaluation models with in-house tools.
• Collaborate with staff to translate customer needs into project objectives.
