Job summary

Anduril Industries in Colorado Springs is seeking a Software Engineer, Modeling and Simulation to join our Space team. You will develop web and desktop applications used for serious games, wargames, experiments, and simulations, supporting multiple customers in defense and national security programs.

You will work on full-stack web or desktop engine development with strong engineering fundamentals. Ideal candidates have proficiency in Python and other languages (JavaScript, C++, GLSL, OpenGL),

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background from industry or school in CS/SE/Math/Physics or related field.
• Experience delivering production-grade code in Python and other languages such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML, C++, GLSL.
• Proficiency with version control, CI/CD workflows, and issue-based development tasks.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate customer requirements and design appropriate software solutions.
• Develop and test application features, with supporting evaluation and documentation.
• Contribute to game engine development across messaging and 3D graphics pipelines.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers and manage project priorities and deliverables.
• Optimize simulation performance and rendering pipelines for real-time, large-scale scenarios.
• Bridge simulation capabilities with Anduril’s operational software for real-world use.
