Job summary

True Anomaly, Inc. in Colorado is seeking an applied ML engineer to design and develop machine learning and AI capabilities for space-domain applications.

You will work with experienced engineers to build models for object classification, anomaly detection, and data-driven decision-making, writing clean Python code in a collaborative team. You should have a 2–4 year track record (or a Master’s) in CS/ML/DS/EE, strong Python, and hands-on experience with ML frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/ML/DS/EE with 2–4 years of experience, or Master’s with no experience.
• Strong Python and fundamentals of supervised/unsupervised learning.
• Experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX).
• Solid math background in linear algebra, statistics, and probability.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, mission-driven space environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, training, and evaluation of ML models across mission tasks.
• Support data ingestion, preprocessing, and feature engineering pipelines.
• Run experiments, track results, and contribute to model iteration.
• Write clean, documented Python code as part of a collaborative team.
• Learn and grow alongside senior engineers from day one.
