Job summary

True Anomaly is seeking a Data Engineer I to join a fast-paced startup team in the Denver area, building real-world data systems and growing quickly. You will work on data pipelines, ingestion, and transformations using Python and SQL, with exposure to cloud data platforms.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in data/Software engineering, a CS/DS-related degree, and a readiness to embrace startup pace and ambiguity while contributing to cross-functional projects and AI-assisted tooling.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in data engineering or software engineering.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, data science or related field.
• Excellent Python programming skills and knowledge of SQL.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced startup environment and learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines and products using Python, SQL, and cloud data platforms.
• Develop, test and troubleshoot data ingestion, transformations and workflows.
• Apply software engineering practices including Git, testing, and CI/CD.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
