Job summary

Aerodyne Industries, LLC is seeking a Performance Engineer to join the COSMOS/Johnson Space Center team in Houston. You will work with NASA customer, systems engineers and software teams to measure and evaluate system performance across MCC and training environments.

The role emphasizes data collection, resource utilization analysis, automation, and real-time support during critical mission phases. Prior SDLC experience and scripting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, MIS, Math or related field with 2–5 years of experience
• Must have scripting/automation experience
• Familiar with SDLC and agile processes
• Ability to work flexible/dynamic schedules, including nights/weekends when needed
• NASA PIV badge eligibility or clearance considered a plus

Responsibilities

• Collect and process resource utilization data from workstations, servers and networks across development, integration and production environments
• Provide resource metrics for platforms and networking devices
• Support mission systems real-time operations during critical phases
• Conduct system performance analyses, benchmarking and testing
• Develop scripts and automate processes to improve system performance
• Collaborate with NASA customer and engineering teams to sustain system performance
