Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Software Integration and Test Engineer to design, develop, and implement test plans for software verification and validation in the space domain.

You will write test scripts in Python, Perl, and Linux, engage in full-stack feature delivery, and collaborate with IPT leads and customers. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of software development, strong Java/Python/JS/C# skills, and experience with REST APIs and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Solid programming experience in Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#, with ability to write clean, testable code.
• Experience with test automation scripting and frameworks (Python, Bash, Perl) and automated testing tools (PyTest, JUnit, Selenium, Postman/Newman, Cucumber).
• Familiarity with Git, code reviews, and Agile/Scrum teams.
• Experience building or working with RESTful APIs and web applications, with integration and end-to-end testing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Features with Increasing Independence, from requirements to deployment.
• Write clean, production-ready code and maintainability-focused tests.
• Support junior engineers through questions and pairing, and guide best practices.
• Contribute to modern development practices with CI/CD and automated test pipelines.
• Collaborate across product, design, and test leads; communicate progress clearly.
• Continuously grow skills in automation, integration, and system reliability.
