Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Application Software Engineer in Redmond to help build mission-critical software that supports SpaceX production, flight operations and Starlink services. You will own end-to-end software development, collaborate across teams, and contribute to systems enabling high-throughput manufacturing and satellite networks.

The role welcomes engineers who are motivated, collaborative, and eager to impact space exploration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline; OR 2+ years of professional software experience in lieu of a degree
• 1+ years of experience in full stack development

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software solutions used across SpaceX
• Create new applications that improve SpaceX operations
• Build prototypes to prove design concepts and quantify constraints
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development
• Deep dive into users’ problems to find efficient solutions
• Contribute to architecture, design, and code reviews in collaborative teams
