Job summary

Sophia Space seeks a Business Manager for the Athena mission, to own the program's budget, integrated schedule, and contracts lifecycle. You will drive cost performance reviews and ensure alignment with technical progress, reporting to leadership and stakeholders.

In this high-visibility role, you will apply AI-enabled tools to cost and schedule analysis and contract review while growing toward full program business ownership in a fast-moving aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and contracts on hardware programs.
• Ability to translate financial data into clear program narratives.
• Proficiency with earned value management concepts and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the Athena budget and the integrated schedule.
• Lead cost performance reviews and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with Finance on actuals, accruals, PO, and forecasting.
• Prepare cost, schedule, risk, and contract briefings for stakeholders.
