Job summary

Vast is seeking a Technical Recruiter II (Fixed Term) to support engineering hiring for Haven-1 and core space hardware projects. This in-person role is based in Long Beach, CA and runs as a 6 month fixed-term position with potential extension.

You will own searches across manufacturing and engineering talent, build pipelines, and guide hiring teams from outreach to offer while partnering with leaders across Manufacturing for Haven-1 and engine development programs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting for manufacturing, production, engineering, or other technical hardware organizations.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting across high-volume manufacturing technician hiring and Manufacturing Engineering searches.
• Partner with hiring managers to calibrate role requirements, interview plans, timelines, and strategy.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify, engage, and close passive candidates.
• Track recruiting metrics and maintain candidate experience throughout high-demand periods.
• Represent Vast’s mission and value proposition to candidates throughout the hiring process.
