Job summary

Northwood Space is seeking a Workplace Operations Manager to own the day-to-day and long-term effectiveness of manufacturing and workplace facilities. You will ensure building systems, production spaces, and employee work areas are safe, reliable, and ready to support a growing team.

Collaborating with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Workplace teams, you will build scalable processes for maintenance, vendor management, and space planning as our products scale into full production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in facilities management or operations for industrial/site environments.
• Experience managing building maintenance, service vendors, and facility projects end-to-end.
• Strong ability to assess issues, set priorities, and coordinate timely solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage facility operations across production lines, the machine shop, inventory areas, and office spaces.
• Own preventive maintenance and repairs for building systems, utilities, equipment infrastructure, cleaning, and grounds.
• Partner with Production and Engineering to plan facility work around manufacturing priorities.
• Develop scalable processes for work orders, inspections, access, emergency response, and facility records.
• Manage contractors and service providers, including scopes of work, schedules, contracts, and the facilities budget.
• Lead space planning and facility improvements to support growth and production capacity.
