Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 2+ years of professional experience working in an aviation or aerospace tool room environment; OR 4+ years of professional experience working at a launch or test site.
• Solid foundation with streaming low latency live video.
• Experience with Windows Server 2003, 2008 R2 and Windows 10.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Receive, store and issue hand tools, replacement tools, shop supplies and equipment.
• Keep record of tools issued to and returned by workers.
• Search for lost or misplaced tools and notify supervision as required.
• Prepare inventory and requisition stock as needed.
• Unpack and store new equipment.
• Visually inspect tools for wear and defects, and order replacement tools as necessary.
• Attach identification tags or engrave identifying information on tools and equipment as needed.
• Assist repair cycle specialist in maintaining inventories on parts, tools and equipment.
• Assist management team with the ordering of tools, parts, and equipment within the control of the tool room facility.
• Handle and dispose of hazardous materials.
• Maintain technical order files, e-tools, bench stock, shop stock, calibrated tooling and hazardous waste areas.
• Practice good housekeeping, tool control, FOD awareness/prevention, and safety at all times.
• Follow technical data, manuals, regulations, and other maintenance directives as required.
