Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install and maintain the Starship test stand's electrical, mechanical, and fluid systems. The role involves hydraulics, cryogenic systems, and high-pressure gases, with emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience performing maintenance or installation work on mechanical and low‑voltage control systems.
Ability to read and follow schematics or engineering drawings for fluid systems.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and install fluid system components from a schematic or engineering drawing, including valves, regulators, and gauges.
Troubleshoot operational issues in controls, fluids, and mechanical systems.
Collaborate with technicians and engineers to ensure high-quality systems for launch operations.
Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and aerial platforms.
Perform maintenance tasks across vehicle integration, pad maintenance, site maintenance, and general facilities.
Create, maintain, and edit work orders and instructions.
Perform lockout/tagout procedures and fluid system configuration procedures safely.
Monitor instrumentation data to assess health and performance of fluid systems.
