Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a technical intern to contribute to integration and test activities for space vehicle systems and supporting hardware. You will help develop test procedures, software, and hardware designs that align with project requirements, and assist in validating the health and operation of space flight hardware.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree and graduate after August 2027.
• Major in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties contributing to Integration and Test (I&T) activities for space vehicle systems and their supporting hardware.
• Support and/or develop test procedures, processes, software, and hardware designs that meet space vehicle requirements.
• Test space flight hardware and identify constraints and hazards to ensure safety of the hardware.
• Analyze results to ensure health and proper operation of the space flight hardware; work in a team environment.
