Job summary

EnduroSat is hiring a Harness Manufacturing Engineer in Los Angeles to design, document, and validate electrical wiring harnesses for satellite systems. You will work with senior engineers to create accurate schematics, harness drawings, and wiring specifications, growing expertise in electrical interconnection and spacecraft integration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years in ECAD design or harness design in aerospace or related industry.
• Experience with PCB design fundamentals and connector selection.
• Hands-on with test equipment: multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply.
• Knowledge of basic electrical concepts and CAN/RS-485/RS-422.
• Attention to detail and ability to document work.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.
• Willing to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and update CAD schematic diagrams and harness drawings.
• Design wiring harness layouts with connectors and cable specs.
• Support PCB design activities and IPC/ECSS compliant schematics.
• Collaborate with system and mechanical teams on requirements.
• Perform design reviews and validation activities.
• Assist assembly of wiring harnesses from drawings.
• Troubleshoot assembled harnesses to find root causes.
• Learn and apply harness best practices in spacecraft architecture.
• Support testing, including pinouts with multimeters and oscilloscope.
