Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking a Manufacturing Test Technician to work on spaceflight hardware, testing components, PCBA’s, subsystems, and fully integrated satellites. You will join a lab and cleanroom environment where precision matters and timelines shift with launch schedules.

We value meticulous, methodical workers who follow instructions, maintain organized workspaces, and communicate clearly when context is needed. Linux CLI experience and PCB soldering are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented approach to manufacturing/testing environments.
• Methodical and precise in following procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions accurately.
• Keep work area clean and organized at all times.
• Communicate issues early with team members.
• Able to read and parse log files for issues.
• Advanced PCB soldering and harness soldering skills.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and test satellite avionics at PCBA, sub-assembly, and spacecraft level.
• Organize and manage test stations and tools, maintaining calibration schedules.
• Support engineering in improving functional testing of sub-systems and components.
• Inspect and repair cables and harnesses for internal systems and interconnects.
• Troubleshoot test failures with test engineers.
• Own subassembly debug plan development.
• Develop and improve work instruction guides.
• Apply Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement methods.
