Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the technician team, resolve obstacles, and collaborate with engineers on tools and line equipment for Leo hardware builds.

The role includes writing work instructions, troubleshooting non-conformances, and contributing to design release. A Bachelor's in engineering and 1+ year in mechanical/electronic systems are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 1+ year experience with integrating, testing and troubleshooting mechanical and electronic systems.
• 1+ year experience with CAD tools such as Solidworks or NX/Unigraphics.

Responsibilities

• Write work instructions and troubleshoot non-conformances.
• Help execute satellite assembly build and test campaigns, including hands-on work.
• Define and implement Work Orders and standard operating procedures.
• Specify, design and procure assembly equipment and tools to meet development requirements.
• Review designs for manufacturability and sign off for design release.
