Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton in El Segundo is seeking a Mid Systems Engineer to work on a top-priority space program. The role requires strong technical skills and 5+ years of experience in systems engineering for DoD ground-based systems. You will support military satellite communications and collaborate closely with U.S. Space Force personnel.

You must have a TS/SCI clearance and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields. The role will allow for both remote work and hybrid models as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience performing systems engineering on DoD ground-based systems for space.
• Experience with scripting languages, such as Python.
• Ability to effectively communicate and work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy strategic military satellite communications capabilities.
• Support the Space Force client working alongside Booz Allen team.
• Assist in integrating the ground system to meet user’s needs.

Skills

Experience performing systems engineering on DoD ground-based systems for space

Experience with integrating new missions and maintaining/upgrading ground segment software

Experience with scripting languages, such as Python

Experience developing Interface Control Documents (ICDs)

Experience identifying, analyzing, and managing program risks

Experience using a Model-Based Systems Engineering approach

Experience with Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Ability to communicate and work collaboratively

TS/SCI clearance
