Rocket Lab USA is seeking a Test Engineering Intern at our Wallops Island, VA site to work with the flight operations crew and gain hands-on exposure to live test and launch operations.

You will collaborate with mentors, apply engineering concepts to real challenges, and participate in tech talks and intern events. Eligible candidates are enrolled in an engineering or physics degree with at least one semester remaining and a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in engineering or physics degree with at least one semester remaining.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience.
• Scripting or automation experience is a plus.

• Work with a mentor and teammates to apply engineering concepts and grow skills.
• Collaborate with professionals to solve real test/launch challenges.
• Attend regular 1:1s with mentors to track progress.
