Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer engineering or computer science.
• 5+ years designing with VHDL/Verilog for FPGA projects.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• Experience in embedded firmware development for aerospace.
• Familiarity with Space/Defense communication protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RTL/firmware for general-purpose and mission-specific work.
• Create firmware for peripheral interfaces and space-grade devices.
• Design and optimize serial links (SpaceWire, SPI, MIL-STD).
• Deploy firmware to hardware and perform integration tests.
• Ensure radiation-hardened, high-reliability operation in aerospace environments.
