Job summary

Rocket Lab in California is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician at all-levels to join our advanced manufacturing team. The Electro-Mechanical Technician will play a crucial part in the precision assembly of avionics and electronic systems for Neutron launch vehicle components, and will also play a key role in electrical integration and testing of flight hardware.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with relevant electro-mechanical experience.
• Experience fabricating harnesses and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Prototype development and first article builds experience.
• Reading schematics, drawings and parts lists; basic electronic testing.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical and electrical assembly of PCB assemblies for flight hardware.
• Build electrical sub-assemblies and wire harnesses; perform soldering/desoldering.
• Assist with functional testing and development of production processes.
