Job summary

DLS Engineering is seeking a Space Force Identity Protection Analyst to collect, analyze, and report on information from publicly available sources to support sensitive activities for the US Space Force in Colorado Springs, CO.

The role involves leveraging OSINT tools to produce actionable intelligence, monitor social media and online platforms, and prepare briefs for executives and government clients while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of DoD sensitive activities experience.
• 5+ years of experience.
• BA/BS degree desired or additional 5 years' experience.
• Fundamentals of Open-Source Research (Due Diligence, Touchstone, CASO, Open Source Academy Certification, etc.).
• Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
• Experience with OSINT/PAI methodologies and platforms.
• Experience with Linux and Python.
• Understanding of legal, ethical, and privacy considerations in open-source collection.
• Active Top Secret w/SCI clearance. Ability to be read onto SAP.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• High level of knowledge on space systems in support of Signature Reduction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct systematic collection and analysis of publicly available information (PAI).
• Develop and maintain Online Vulnerability Assessment (OVA) reports, threat assessments, and intelligence briefings.
• Identify emerging threats, trends, or patterns relevant to security, geopolitical risk, cyber threats, fraud, or reputational risk.
• Utilize OSINT tools and platforms and adhere to ethical and legal standards.
• Monitor social media and online platforms for indicators of threat activity or brand/reputation concerns.
• Prepare concise and accurate intelligence products for diverse audiences.
