Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. is seeking a Space Threat & Domain Awareness Analyst to advance national security space initiatives for US Space Force and other agencies.

You will integrate defense guidance with space domain awareness concepts, analyze space surveillance data, and provide technical leadership to inform mission assurance and defense decision-makers, while working at a Colorado Springs site.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance at time of application.
• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering, Intelligence Studies, or related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience with space surveillance architectures including space object tracking, orbital mechanics, signature analysis.
• Experience synthesizing intelligence reporting, threat assessments, and systems engineering judgments to generate a threat baseline.
• Knowledge of offensive and defensive space operations.

Responsibilities

• Integrate strategic defense guidance, real-world operational scenarios, and Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Force Design concepts across multiple classification enclaves to shape future resilient architectures.
• Leverage space surveillance architecture, orbital mechanics, space object tracking, and signature analysis to characterize evolving adversary capabilities and assess spacecraft maneuvers and anomalies.
• Synthesize complex intelligence reporting and systems engineering data to establish comprehensive space threat baselines that inform space operations.
• Bridge the gap between deep technical engineering and all-source operational intelligence.
• Translate multi-phenomenology sensor data and intelligence reporting into actionable threat baselines.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, intelligence analysts, and operational warfighters to evaluate adversary tactics across mission areas.
• Evaluations and technical insights will drive requirements for next-generation SDA toolsets and mission assurance strategies.
