Job summary

Responsibilities

• Monitor, trend, and analyze satellite and payload telemetry during ops shifts.
• When not on shift, perform system tests with on-orbit payloads and/or lab assets (e.g., engineering development units and/or simulators).
• Develop coding/scripts to analyze and interpret payload data for debugging/troubleshooting and system performance evaluation.
• Develop, improve, and operate custom software tools during trending, testing, analysis, and operational workflow.
• Assist with discrepancy report adjudication and anomaly resolution.

Basic Requirements

• Level 2: BS in STEM with at least 2 years of experience in aerospace or defense industry development or test, or any relevant experience with an MS degree.
• Level 3: BS in STEM with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or 3 years with an MS degree.
• Active U.S. DoD Top Secret clearance (currently granted and capable of obtaining SCI).
• Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python coding.

Preferred Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
• Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python coding.
• Familiarity with RF test environments.
• Familiarity with RADAR operations, integration, and test.
• Experience conducting on-orbit mission operations and resolving satellite/ground system anomalies.
• Active SCI clearance.

Salary & Benefits

Level 2 salary range: $87,600 – $131,400. Level 3 salary range: $108,800 – $163,200.
